Device Compatibility

Supported Devices

Samsung POS is designed to run on most modern Android devices running Android Pie 9 or above.

Your device should have a resultion of at least 480x800 and a physical size of at least 4" (10cm) diagnally. Smaller devices may still run Samsung POS but certain screens may not display correctly.

To make use of any card payment functionality you will need to ensure that your device has NFC and an internet connection.

Samsung POS will not run on:

  • iOS devices
  • Windows devices
  • Blackberry devices
  • Non mobile devices such as laptops or PC’s
  • Rooted or modified devices
